Over the years, Game of Thrones has introduced many characters who have become some of the most iconic characters in modern television, but one character that stands out is Arya Stark. Her strong-willed nature and stubbornness, which shaped her path to self-discovery, set her apart. Although George Martin never intended Arya to be one of the main protagonists, she ended up taking a leading role, which is evident not only in the show.
There are chapters focused on Arya Stark in every book of A Song of Ice and Fire — even in the unpublished Winds of Winter.
For those familiar with A Song of Ice and Fire, the narrative employs a nonlinear structure, with each chapter presenting events from a single character’s perspective. While Arya Stark doesn’t have the most chapters from her perspective – that record belongs to Tyrion Lannister – she is the only character with at least one point-of-view chapter in every published book of the series. Furthermore, George Martin has dedicated several chapters in The Winds of Winter to her, although the chances of those chapters ever reaching fans seem to be dwindling with each passing day.

What will happen to Arya in The Winds of Winter?
If George Martin hasn’t changed his plans, Arya Stark will continue her journey across Westeros seeking revenge for the death of her family. Although she has spent several years away from home, there is a possibility that at some point, Arya will return to Winterfell, and such a plot twist could potentially provide the perfect conclusion to her storyline.
