The return of Ted Lasso with a new season delighted many fans. However, as with many long-running series, change is inevitable. One of the central characters will have to be replaced.
But don’t worry, the character isn’t going anywhere; it’s just that the actor will be replaced. After all, time moves on, and children grow up.
As you may have guessed, the character in question is Ted Lasso’s (Jason Sudeikis) son, Henry, previously portrayed by Gus Turner in Seasons 1-3. Per Variety, Warner Bros. is now on the lookout for a new young actor to take on the role.

Henry’s appearances were largely through FaceTime calls with his father, Ted, who was coaching soccer far away while Henry stayed in Kansas with his mother, Michelle (Andrea Anders). Despite the distance, Henry did make a few trips to London, first with his mother and later on his own after his parents separated. In the Season 3 finale, it was Henry who welcomed Ted home when he returned to Kansas.
At this point, the only confirmed cast member for Season 4 is Jason Sudeikis, returning as Ted Lasso.
While an exact release date has not been announced, reports suggest that production may commence as early as 2025, potentially leading to a premiere in 2026.

Other main cast members, including Hannah Waddingham (Rebecca Welton) and Brett Goldstein (Roy Kent), are expected to return, though their participation has not been officially confirmed.
