The first teaser for Jurassic World: Rebirth unveils some surprising details that may not sit well with loyal fans of the franchise. It seems the main characters from the previous trilogy are no longer part of the Jurassic universe, signaling a shift in the narrative. As a result, the Jurassic World we once knew is evolving. However, the new additions to the cast have quickly garnered their own fanbase.
Discussionfilms released a teaser on X, where we can see Scarlett Johansson making her debut as Zora Bennett, a covert operations specialist, while Jonathan Bailey portrays Dr. Henry Loomis, a dedicated paleontologist with a passion for prehistoric creatures.
The story takes place five years after Jurassic World Dominion (2022). Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard won’t be returning, and the series is heading in a new direction. This film aims to start a new trilogy, directed by Gareth Edwards.
In the teaser, we see Johansson’s character, Zora Bennett, and Bailey’s Dr. Henry Loomis as they step out of tall jungle grass and spot the tail of a prehistoric creature. Johansson, is fully geared up with survival equipment and holding a gun. Bailey, as the paleontologist, wears a backpack, a flannel shirt, and a utility vest.

The film will debut in North America on July 2, courtesy of Universal Pictures.
