Many people are already actively using AI networks for various purposes — from helping with their studies to solving work problems. Even directors and screenwriters have also started experimenting with AI to speed up the creative process and get new ideas for their projects. And now one of them, Paul Schrader, shared his impressions of how ChatGPT can generate script ideas for the most famous directors.
On his social networks, Schrader admitted that he recently asked to create scripts for him and other famous filmmakers. The results surprised the master, and he admitted that he was amazed by the quality of the ideas that the AI offered in a few seconds.
"I was stunned when I asked ChatGPT to pitch a film idea not only for me, but for Paul Thomas Anderson, Quentin Tarantino, Harmony Korine and other great directors."
"Every idea it pitched was not only good, but original, and well thought out," he said.
As a result, the genius of cinema asked himself the question:
"Why should writers spend months searching for good ideas when AI can provide them in seconds?"
Well, it's still a long way to a complete replacement of humans, of course. But sometimes a neural network can really write a very exciting script.
