James Cameron’s 1998 epic Titanic is one of the highest-grossing films of all time, captivating audiences with its romance and tragic historical backdrop. However, nearly three decades later, a TikToker has uncovered a glaring mistake in one of the film’s most iconic scenes.
The Reflection That Shouldn’t Be There
TikTok user Raf Avilla recently posted a video highlighting a scene where Jack (Leonardo DiCaprio) is about to join the upper class for dinner. As a butler opens a glass door for him, the reflection clearly reveals a cameraman staring back at the audience.

"We all know the scene when Jack is getting ready to go to dinner," Raf says. "Now, I want you to pay close attention to the door." He then points out the unintended cameo, adding, "Now you’re going to notice that all of the time."
Fan Reactions: Fascination or Indifference?
The discovery has divided fans — some are impressed, while others dismiss it as a common film error.
One TikTok user commented, "So what? We all know it’s a movie." Another added, "There’s no way to avoid that." Meanwhile, other viewers have noticed additional bloopers, including firemen reflected in the boiler rooms.
Despite the minor mishap, Titanic remains a cinematic masterpiece, but thanks to Raf’s discovery, fans may never look at that dinner scene the same way again.
