Stars of iconic '90s horrors are teaming up for yet another terrifying project. Fans of these genres will be beyond thrilled when they hear their names.
Devoted is a new horror film directed and written by Richard J. Bosner, featuring a strong cast that includes Lin Shaye (A Nightmare on Elm Street), Skeet Ulrich (Scream), Mena Suvari (American Pie), and Nick Stahl (Sin City). This is Bosner’s first feature film, and he also serves as one of the producers, alongside Robert Ogden Barnum, Eric Binns and Carissa Knol.
Per Variety, the film follows Suvari’s character, who takes in her estranged sister (played by Elizabeth Marvel), the only survivor of a cult suicide. What starts as a happy reunion soon turns into a nightmare, as her sister’s strange influence begins to unravel their lives. Bosner has praised the talented cast and shared his love for classic horror films.
Devoted is based on Bosner's short film Devotee, which premiered at the 2024 Hollyshorts Film Festival and was selected for the 2024 Beyond Fest.
