Not Just an Actor: Hugh Jackman Prepares for His Concerts — Just Wait Until You Hear Him Sing!

globallookpress.com — Hugh Jackman at 'The Greatest Showman' premiere (2018)

From Broadway hits to cinema classics, Jackman’s concerts promise magic.

Hugh Jackman is preparing to surprise audiences once again, not with his acting chops but with his incredible musical talent. The Oscar-nominated actor, known for his roles in Les Misérables and The Greatest Showman, is stepping into the spotlight for his concert series From New York, with Love. The 12-show run kicks off at Radio City Music Hall with performances on January 24 and 25, continuing through the summer of 2025.

Behind the Scenes: A Taste of What’s to Come

To give fans a taste of what’s to come, Jackman recently shared a behind-the-scenes video of himself singing "Valjean’s Soliloquy" from Les Misérables. Backed by a full orchestra, the performance highlighted his powerhouse vocals and passion for music. Jackman’s Instagram post, captioned "🎤… #fromnewyorkwithlove @radiocitymusichall #sililoquy," garnered applause and excitement for the upcoming show.

The concert series will include songs from Jackman’s acclaimed film and theater career, including Les Misérables, The Boy from Oz, The Greatest Showman, and The Music Man. Known for his stage presence and ability to captivate an audience, Jackman will blend Broadway classics, cinematic hits, and some surprises for fans.

Rehearsals, Upcoming Projects, and Jackman’s Versatility

In addition to vocal rehearsals, Jackman has been polishing dance routines with choreographers Ashley Wallen and Mishay Petronelli. In one rehearsal clip, Jackman teased that a number from The Music Man may make its way to the Radio City stage, writing, "Seems like this one has to come with us to @radiocitymusichall."

This musical showcase comes on the heels of Jackman’s success with Deadpool & Wolverine, his reunion with Ryan Reynolds. He has also wrapped up filming Song Sung Blue, where he plays half of a Neil Diamond tribute duo alongside Kate Hudson.

For those who know Jackman as Wolverine, his vocal range and stage charisma may come as a revelation. But for fans of his work in musicals, From New York, with Love promises to be a dazzling display of yet another of his many talents.
