Peter Jackson has firmly secured his place in cinematic history with The Lord of the Rings trilogy, which collectively earned 17 Academy Awards.
He reinforced his popularity with the prequel series The Hobbit. Since then, Jackson has stepped away from major film projects, focusing primarily on documentary filmmaking. While he continues to follow the success of his peers, Jackson's favorite movies remain classics from the 20th century.

However, his cellmate learns about the stash. After being released from prison, the man marries the grieving widow, with sinister intentions.
Lawrence of Arabia (1962)
