Brazilian child actress Millena Brandão, known for her work in Netflix productions, has died at the age of 11 after suffering 13 cardiac arrests. The news was confirmed by her family and reported by People.
Brandão was hospitalized days before her death on May 2. According to her mother, Millena began experiencing severe headaches, leg pain, drowsiness, and loss of appetite on April 24. A doctor reportedly suggested dengue fever but did not conduct tests, instead recommending rest and medication at home.
Shortly after, Millena lost consciousness at home and was admitted to the hospital, where her condition worsened. "She got worse, with two to three cardiac arrests per day. She had 13 arrests in total." her mother said, adding that Millena had no prior health issues of this kind.
Doctors later confirmed brain death. The exact cause of her illness and sudden deterioration remains unknown.
