The film concludes with Joseph's character Eric's fate left ambiguous, leading to speculation about his survival. In an interview with the Collider, Quinn said he has expressed interest in reprising his role, requesting that his character survive to participate in future installments of the franchise.
"It was, yes. I said I got to stop dying. So please don't kill me... But, no, it's been left very much unanswered. Who knows? Who knows? We'll find out."
