The trailer for Guy Ritchie's new Paramount+ series, MobLand, makes its intentions clear from the start. Set to the Rolling Stones’ Sympathy for the Devil, the trailer features Pierce Brosnan introducing his character with gripping narration:
“Name’s Conrad Harrigan. Family man. And if you cross my family — well, you’d better pray.”
This is quickly followed by a striking scene of a house exploding.
MobLand, starring Tom Hardy and Helen Mirren alongside Brosnan, tells the story of a London-based Irish crime family led by Conrad as they vie for dominance within a global syndicate. Mirren plays Conrad's wife, Maeve — dubbed “the brains behind the charm” in Brosnan's narration — while Hardy appears as Harry Da Souza, the family's fixer.

The series also features an impressive ensemble cast, including Paddy Considine, Joanne Froggatt, and Lara Pulver. Originally conceived as a Ray Donovan spinoff titled The Donovans, the show has evolved into its own entity, focusing on the lives of Brosnan and Mirren's characters.
