‘Follow the Yellow Brick Road’ to Kristen Bell’s Wizard of Oz Christmas Tree

‘Follow the Yellow Brick Road’ to Kristen Bell’s Wizard of Oz Christmas Tree

Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard turning Holiday trees into storybook magic.

Kristen Bell is known for her charm and creativity, and her holiday traditions are no exception. This year, the actress revealed a stunning Christmas tree inspired by the iconic musical Wicked and the timeless classic The Wizard of Oz. With thoughtful details and a dash of Broadway magic, Bell’s festive display has captivated fans.

On Instagram, Bell shared a look at her family’s Christmas tree decorations on Wednesday, Dec. 25. The whimsical setup appeared to draw inspiration from both Wicked, one of the year’s standout musicals, and the timeless story of The Wizard of Oz.

The photo showcased a clever touch: a yellow brick road leading up to the tree, with a pair of legs sticking out from underneath - a playful nod to the Wicked Witch of the East. The legs were adorned with the unmistakable ruby slippers, made famous by Judy Garland in the 1939 film adaptation. The tree is adorned with pink and red ornaments, shimmering ribbons, and two standout toppers representing Wicked's beloved characters: Glinda and Elphaba.

Adding to the charm, a playful sign near the tree reads, "Careful: Flying Monkeys Ahead." Even the gifts under the tree were styled to match the magical theme, making the entire display cohesive and enchanting.

This isn’t the first time Bell and her husband, Dax Shepard, have transformed their holiday decorations into a themed masterpiece. Last year, they brought the Grinch to life with their Christmas tree, showcasing their love for creative holiday traditions.

Bell’s attention to detail and love for storytelling make her Christmas displays truly special. As she reminds fans with her creations, "You have to give the people what they want!"

From ruby slippers to flying monkeys, Kristen Bell’s Wicked-inspired Christmas tree proves that holiday decorations can be as magical as the stories they celebrate.
