Capella Film has released a dubbed trailer for the survival thriller "A Million Followers," which will hit theaters on February 20.
Eighteen-year-old Clarissa Denis (Shelley Q) lives in a small town and dreams of becoming a social media star, but she only has 1,404 followers. However, she manages to catch the attention of a large influencer, Jack Mayer (with 24 million followers). After this encounter, Clarissa travels to Thailand, where she is offered an enticing sponsorship deal. There, she meets others who are also eager for fame. All of them participate in a competition with a substantial cash prize. To raise money to save her parents' farm, Clarissa begins posting increasingly revealing photos online, quickly gaining followers. As she immerses herself in the glamorous yet ruthless world of show business, she uncovers the dark side of this industry. Her stay at a luxurious villa and yacht soon turns into a tale of betrayal, intrigue, and a struggle for survival.
