The trailer for the highly anticipated new series of Walking With Dinosaurs has just been released, reviving the prehistoric world for a modern audience.
The episodes promise to take viewers on a journey from the science behind dinosaur fossils to thrilling scenes depicting their reign on Earth. Walking With Dinosaurs is set to premiere this year on BBC One and iPlayer.
This new series arrives over 25 years after the original show first aired and will focus on six remarkable dinosaurs, including:
- The Spinosaurus, the largest carnivorous dinosaur ever.
- A Triceratops engaged in a fierce battle with a T.rex.
- A giant Lusotitan experiencing love in Portugal.
British actor Bertie Carvel will narrate the series, guiding audiences through each prehistoric tale. Carvel is an Olivier Award winner for his portrayal of Miss Trunchbull in Matilda the Musical. The original Walking With Dinosaurs, which debuted in 1999, inspired several spin-off programmes that utilised visual effects to explore our history.
