In the 90s, many hilarious comedies were released that today would be considered inappropriate and politically incorrect. One of them is Major Payne from 1995. The plot follows a retired infantryman who becomes a mentor at a military school: the disobedient boys are in for a tough time with such a strict teacher...
Payne scared the children and openly mocked them. The ambiguous but beloved character was played by actor Damon Wayans.
In the early 80s, the future artist started as a stand-up comedian. In 1984, the talented young man made his debut in an episode of the crime action film Beverly Hills Cop, and his career took off. In the following decade, successful films featuring Wayans included The Last Boy Scout, Mo' Money, and of course, Major Payne.
Although the actor's subsequent projects were not as high-profile, they were well-loved by audiences. This includes the series My Wife and Kids, Lethal Weapon, and the comedy Marci X.

Now 64-year-old Damon Wayans, who has grown a gray beard, is acting alongside his adult son, Damon Jr. This past year, the family duo appeared in the series Poppa's House.
Wayans, a representative of a large and influential family in Hollywood, does not often speak about his personal life, even though most of his relatives are public figures: his brothers, Marlon and Shawn, starred in the popular comedy Don't Be a Menace to South Central While Drinking Your Juice in the Hood.
It is known that in the past, Damon Wayans was married to Lisa Thorner, with whom he had four children, but the couple divorced. In 2013, the actor publicly announced that he suffers from type 2 diabetes. Due to health issues, the star even canceled some of his performances, but now he does not complain about his well-being.
