It’s Andor, the fan-favorite prequel that follows the story of Cassian Andor, the rebel leader introduced in Rogue One. The first season, which premiered on September 21, 2022, earned rave reviews, boasting a 96% rating from critics and a 92% audience score on Rotten Tomatoes. It quickly became one of the best Star Wars entries ever made, praised for its gritty storytelling and complex characters.
And now, after that massive success, Andor is coming back for a second season, expected to release on April 22, 2025. In the new trailer, we witness Cassian Andor (Diego Luna) leading the Rebel Alliance against the Empire, with intense action sequences, including aerial assaults on Imperial vehicles.
Returning characters include Mon Mothma (Genevieve O'Reilly), a prominent leader in the Rebel Alliance; Luthen Rael (Stellan Skarsgård), a mysterious figure aiding the rebellion; and Bix Caleen (Adria Arjona), a mechanic and former lover of Cassian.
