Quentin Tarantino is a cult director whose films have become classics of world cinema. However, few people know that he was behind bars three times — however, only for a few days and exclusively for traffic violations.

Later, biographer Jeffrey Sparrow clarified: the director had accumulated unpaid fines, and he was detained on warrants. In the end, this cost the director several thousand dollars more than he was earning at the time.
