Disney Executive Vice President of Television Meredith Roberts hinted in an interview that the studio is discussing new projects with the creator of the animated series Alex Hirsch. In particular, a new book based on Gravity Falls will soon be released, in which the events will be told from the point of view of Bill Cipher.
In addition, short films based on the show's universe are possible. And when asked about a full-scale return, Roberts said "never say never," leaving fans with hope that Disney will eventually decide on a new season.
